ABOUT US
We are a 1920s inspired jazz ensemble, with a twist. Dressed in Prohibition Era garb, Dr. Daylight’s Jazz Co. breathes new life into Traditional jazz favorites and transforms "pop" songs into jazz standards.
Meet the Company!
Sarah Robinson
Vocals
Sarah Robinson is a transplant from Green Bay WI who’s been singing jazz for over 10 years. Her most recent credits include performing in the Great American Songbook Celebration at the Manship Theater in Baton Rouge, the Pointe Coupee jazz brunch last April, and performances this summer across Lafayette with Dr. Daylight’a Jazz Co. Her favorite music to perform is 20-40s jazz repertoire, with ballad, bossa and risky scat solos among her fortes. She is thrilled to have found Dr. Daylight this summer, and can’t wait for what’s to come!

FAQ
Do you provide your own equipment?
Yes, when you book Dr. Daylight's Jazz Co., we will bring our instruments, sound equipment, and lights. For larger venues, we may ask the client to provide additional equipment. This can be discussed during the booking process.
What type of events do you perform?
We perform private events, corporate events, weddings, and festivals.
Do you always perform in 1920's attire?
No, that is up to the client. If we're a better fit in non-1920's attire, please let us know during the booking process.
Can I book just a portion of the band?
Yes. While we'd recommend booking the full group, for smaller events and venues we'll condense down to a quintet consisting of:
Vocals, Piano, Bass, Drums, and one horn.
